Post E89 LUC. The ongoing project!
Does anybody know where I can download a set of directions for the cambelt change on my s4?
I've decided to have a go at it myself if I can find a set of good instructions and the correct tensioning tool which I've been told is vital!

I've just found a 928 specialish here who can supply the tool without the wiat or import taxes.
I'll order one today and I'm away for a week from tomorrow but, it should be here when I get back and I can have a go at it myself! I'll keep you updated.

Just purchased the tensioning tool today and also the the flywheel locking tool plus a couple of other bits that I have been advised to change at the same time. I'm probably not going to be able to get started for a week or so but I'll keep you posted.

Yes, the flywheel lock is very important. I forgot to mention you'll need that.

Well, I now have everything needed, the tools and the parts. I'm going to change the water pump at the same time so I've got an OEM pump and gasket set. The only problem is i am in a restaurant 1000 miles from home (on holiday in malta) so It's going to be a few days till I get started. I'm quite excited!

Like a child in a Toy Store. It will be fun and be prepared to break some of those WP Bolts. Be prepared to drill and tap. Make sure to PB Blaster them the day before. Also replace all the WP Bolts with new.
