Post Thermo fan, how is it controlled ?
One of the issues with this new car is that most of the dash guages don't work.
The most worrying of those is the temp guage, so i don't know if the car is getting hot or not.
The car has a viscous drive fan which is good but can anyone tell me what controls the thermo fan ?
Is it controlled by the guage or is there a temp switch somewhere I can check ?

The car has oil pressure, if I can make sure the temp is going to be okay and sort the charging, then I won't stress about driving the car between now and me pulling the dash out and trying to sort the guage issues.

The clock works great though !! Awesome !

Most likely culprit on why gauges aren't working is the PCB (Printed Circuit Board) behind the Pod. Some have had luck by cleaning the contacts, but it didn't work for me. I will be replacing my PCB in the future as my most important gauges work most of the time.

Electric Fan has a Thermo Switch mounted on the Radiator (lower). It will be on the opposite side of the small drain plug.

The clutch fan is filled with silicone oil, when it isn't hot it should spin freely, and when it is hot it should lock up (feel very stiff when you try to turn it with the motor not running). Bearings wear and silicone oil leaks out, either replace or attempt a refill.
