when I apply the brakes my 1989 porsche 928 s4 with a auto trannys speedo and lights quit working along with my DC outlet the speedo and DC outlet come back on after i release pressure the lights do not i have to put them back down and pray they work when i turn the knob any i deas on my electrical gremlin and how i can shut him down thanks

Wow, what a strange electrical issue. I didn't answer since i really had no good answers for you. It sounds like your issue will still be there so maybe someone can throw some ideas that you may try. Welcome to the Board!

UPDATE i read a rennlist tread about the same symptoms on this other car and read that the ignition switch is out of wack or somthing the remedy is to replace the ingnition switch or for the time being start the car and then turn the key back just a hair so it contacts watever thing is in there so it will allow my electronics to function. i dont understand how it works but it did for me

Perfect. You found the solution. Ignition switches aren't very expensive and not hard to replace. I did mine when I first got my car. You just have to remove the POD.
