It would be great to have more 928 owners convert their cars for the tracks and get them out there, to see and show what they're capable of. 928 Motorsports has alot of new parts and info for racing the 928. After a recent day at the track I've decided to make my 83 "barely" street legal and get it out out on the track more, not to mention improved road use.

Post Re: 928Racing.net
I haven't made any irreversible changes, but my 85 Euro 5 spd is "rough", but too nice to part and scrap, so I replaced the timing belt failure motor with a cleaned up 84 Euro motor, and it may end up heavily "track" and some street (drive to the track).

A number of 928 track cars seem to be in the works, hopefully the number will continue to increase.

From talks with Mark Andersen and Jim Bailey it seems fairly critical you pick the right car to end up in a classification where you can have fun.

That's a good point because the year and the type of mods can put you in a different group so read the rules first.
